Random Memories

As I was driving down the highway a song popped into my head.. An before you start laughing you must remember I am a adolescent of the late 80's and early 90's so the majority of the Glam Rock bands are my absolute favorite . As I was driving down the road Jon Bon Jovi's song "Blood on Blood" started replaying in my head. Even though I haven't listened in years that song has more significance in the present day than it did at that time.
    As the lyrics go,
“ I can still remember
When I was just a kid
                 When friends were friends forever
And what you said was what you did Blood on blood
         One on one
                  We'd still be standing
When all was said and done
              Blood on blood
            One on one
And I'll be here for you
                   Till Kingdom come
                   Blood on blood"
Granted I have taken the freedom of shortening the lyrics that suits my framework of thoughts right now. Are there people in your day to day life that you would go to the ends of the earth for? Are there people that you love no matter where they are? And if they called you at three am would you respond to that ringing of the telephone and be willing to help?
I am a firm believer in that Family doesn't consist of the people who are only genetically connected to you. For in my own life I created my family. No I am not directly talking about the man that I choice or marry, or have children with. I am talking about those people who we meet in life and have an instant connection with. Sometimes I feel that certain people are in our life as challenges not meant to destroy us but to cause us to grow, change and become a better person. But for every "Challenge” Heavenly Father gives us, He also gives us a person who will love us unconditionally a support us through all Time and Eternity.  It is up to us as individuals to live our life as we see fit and to understand what a “Challenge” is and what is a blessing. So my beloved friends as I set down to find my own "Challenges and Blessings" I persuade you to do the same for I do feel like this is a personal revelation that I just wanted to share.

Back to School

It's time to get organized with the words that every child dreads , mothers cheer and yes my dear ones its "Back to School " time in the Robinette Household. I am in the process of reorganizing the house again, granted I only finished the first round but there is times when I wonder if I will ever be done. Finally we have a working washer and drying in our own home!! Yay granted we had to re run  water and electric line but we have a separate room to wash clothes! its Amazing for the girls are in the process of learning how to be responsible for their own laundry. They are no longer babies but young women who needs to learn to stand on their own in this world.
The house is still a work in progress but what makes it a home our the souls that are contained within these walls. I love being able to go to bed at night without worrying that the girls are gonna get into a fight, for now they have their own rooms. The biggest fight I have to referee now is the line to their bathroom.
I love being able to cook and have family and friends over for dinner.Whether its my tacos, or just something easy that I threw together.. I guess I love to entertain LOL!  It is hard to believe that Taz has started her Freshman Year in High School and Wolfie has entered in to her last year of middle school 8th grade.. Here we come rushing into the unknown. This is the part of parenting where I learn to let go , teach them to be independent beautiful women that I know they can be. Oh what to do with myself, its time for all of us to become who we were meant to be inside.

Spending time with Friends an Family

No matter how crazy life gets we need to take the time to spend with those we love regardless how we are related to them! Whether they are family or friends love doesn't  know or understand Relationship to the heart. I have come to realize that life flashes before you eyes while you are here in earth. And it is up to each individual how they have spent their lives.
The only thing  I want to take to my death bed with me are having my family surround me, and my service to my Heavenly Father to echo the love that I have given people that have been in my life . I do not wait to lay in my death bed breathing my last breathes and have regrets with me! I try to live my life by loving people to the fullest extent of my heart, and all I expect is to be loved in return.. I may not be even liked by all but at last I will know those who loved me love who  I truly am no false faces or false expectations here. So if you ask me a question you better want what I truly feel or the Truth as I see it .. because somethings in life isn't pretty and I will not pretty it up for you..
My husband told me recently that he missed the girl I use to be that had a backbone that wouldn't take crap from anyone at anytime! I lived my live by my own standards with no apologies.. I miss that girl too.. and I will find her if its the last thing I do.. For I am tired of being a doormat.. I am tired of being taken advantage of its time to return to basics ..
