Random Memories

As I was driving down the highway a song popped into my head.. An before you start laughing you must remember I am a adolescent of the late 80's and early 90's so the majority of the Glam Rock bands are my absolute favorite . As I was driving down the road Jon Bon Jovi's song "Blood on Blood" started replaying in my head. Even though I haven't listened in years that song has more significance in the present day than it did at that time.
    As the lyrics go,
“ I can still remember
When I was just a kid
                 When friends were friends forever
And what you said was what you did Blood on blood
         One on one
                  We'd still be standing
When all was said and done
              Blood on blood
            One on one
And I'll be here for you
                   Till Kingdom come
                   Blood on blood"
Granted I have taken the freedom of shortening the lyrics that suits my framework of thoughts right now. Are there people in your day to day life that you would go to the ends of the earth for? Are there people that you love no matter where they are? And if they called you at three am would you respond to that ringing of the telephone and be willing to help?
I am a firm believer in that Family doesn't consist of the people who are only genetically connected to you. For in my own life I created my family. No I am not directly talking about the man that I choice or marry, or have children with. I am talking about those people who we meet in life and have an instant connection with. Sometimes I feel that certain people are in our life as challenges not meant to destroy us but to cause us to grow, change and become a better person. But for every "Challenge” Heavenly Father gives us, He also gives us a person who will love us unconditionally a support us through all Time and Eternity.  It is up to us as individuals to live our life as we see fit and to understand what a “Challenge” is and what is a blessing. So my beloved friends as I set down to find my own "Challenges and Blessings" I persuade you to do the same for I do feel like this is a personal revelation that I just wanted to share.
